The
Bonington Players is a long-standing member of NANDA, which supports amateur
theatre in the county. It exists to promote all aspects of theatre arts to
foster progressive standards and to provide a basis for mutual assistance.
Every year the organisation stages the:
* One Act Play Festival
* Annual Play of the Year Awards and Dinner
* Youth Festival
* Play Writing Festival.

Every year NANDA hosts its annual
awards which reward excellence in all aspects of theatre production from
acting to directing and front of house.
In 2010 the Bonington Players scooped the
following accolades:
* Belper Cup (special adjudicator's award) -
Joanna Kowalski for directing Katherine Howard
* Best set design - Fawlty Towers
